Calgary, Alberta, Canada: NOVA Chemicals Takes Action to Prevent Plastic Debris from Reaching the Ocean

NOVA Chemicals announced a $2 million investment to prevent plastic debris from reaching the ocean in a recent press release.

Project STOP, co-created by NOVA Chemicals sister company Borealis and SYSTEMIQ, aims to prevent leakage of waste into the environment by providing waste collection services, increased recycling of plastics by strengthening the supply chain from waste collection to waste management companies and benefitting the local community by creating jobs in the waste management system.
